Home Remedy For Restless leg syndrome – Vaat Dosha

Here’s a simple home remedy with a mixture of Ayurvedic herbs in Hindi and English that may help alleviate symptoms of restless leg syndrome (RLS) suddenly:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Brahmi (Bacopa)
  • 1 tsp Ashwagandha (Indian ginseng)
  • 1 tsp Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus)
  • 1 tsp Jatamansi (Spikenard)
  • 1 tsp Amalaki (Indian gooseberry)
  • 1 tsp Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)
  • 1 tsp Nirgundi (Vitex negundo)

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the herbs together in a bowl.
  2. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  3. Add 1-2 teaspoons of the herb mixture to the boiling water and stir well.
  4. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a cup.
  6. Drink the tea while it is still warm.
