Home Remedy For Bell’s palsy – Vaat Daosha

Here is a possible Ayurvedic home remedy that combines several herbs that are traditionally used to support healthy nerve function and may be helpful in managing Bell’s palsy:

Ingredients:

  • Ashwagandha powder (Withania somnifera): 1 teaspoon
  • Brahmi powder (Bacopa monnieri): 1 teaspoon
  • Shankhapushpi powder (Convolvulus pluricaulis): 1 teaspoon
  • Tulsi powder (Ocimum sanctum): 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder (Zingiber officinale): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder (Curcuma longa): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Guggulu powder (Commiphora mukul): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Neem powder (Azadirachta indica): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Haritaki powder (Terminalia chebula): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Amalaki powder (Emblica officinalis): 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the powders together in a bowl.
  2. Boil 1 cup of water and let it cool slightly.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of the herbal powder mixture to the water and stir well.
  4. Drink the mixture while it’s still warm.
  5. Repeat 2-3 times a day for up to two weeks or until symptoms improve.
