Home Remedy For Back pain – Vaat Daosha

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Ashwagandha powder (Withania somnifera)
  • 1 tsp Shatavari powder (Asparagus racemosus)
  • 1 tsp Guggulu resin powder (Commiphora mukul)
  • 1 tsp Nirgundi powder (Vitex negundo)
  • 1 tsp Punarnava powder (Boerhavia diffusa)
  • 1 tsp Dashmool powder (a combination of ten roots)
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Combine all the powders in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Boil one cup of water in a pan.
  3. Add the herbal mixture to the boiling water and stir well.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Drink the warm mixture once a day for up to one week, or as recommended by an Ayurvedic practitioner.
