Home Remedy For Stomach Pain – Pita Dosha

Here is a recipe for a home remedy using a good mixture of herbs with Hindi names in English for stomach pain:

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds (dhania)
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder (saunth)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of asafetida (hing)
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, dry roast the fennel seeds, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds until they become aromatic.
  2. Grind the roasted seeds into a fine powder.
  3. In a separate pan, add the water and bring it to a boil.
  4. Add the ground seed powder, ginger powder, black pepper, and asafetida to the boiling water.
  5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and strain the mixture.
  7. Drink the warm liquid while it is still warm.
